Members of the Nottingham Scottish Association and the Beeston U3A Scottish Dance Group got together for a summer garden dance, courtesy of Andrew and Sue Morrison. The weather stayed fair and we were able to get through 9 dances. These included old favourites like ‘De’il Among the Tailors’ and less familiar dances like ‘Eliza Emily’s Reel’. Eventually the call of the ‘bring and share’ buffet (and possibly a glass or two of wine) proved too strong and we enjoyed the rest of a very pleasant social evening (apart from those pesky mosquitoes!)
